Josh Wicks, aka The Vagrant Optimist, is a traveling video creator and story-teller based in Victoria, BC. He loves to film live events and document authentic moments to make captivating videos for mini-docs, presentations, websites, Youtube channels, and social media marketing. Josh graduated with a degree in Independent Video Production from Columbia Academy before leaving Canada to travel the world for 8 years. Wicks values community empowerment and equality.
When the opportunity to be a part of the Waste Land climate anxiety project came, he felt a personal responsibility to document the process from beginning to end- with thoughts, rants, and concepts from as many of the participating artists as possible. The mini-documentary is now in post-production.
