Artist Bio:
Charlotte Scholefield is a visual artist, writer/poet and stage actor who has grown up in Victoria all her life. She mostly writes contemporary fiction and poetry and makes visual art, primarily ink drawings. She has previously performed pieces of her writing with Theatre Skam youth performance company and posts visual art on Instagram @ink.fox_artwork
Charlotte is a student at Victoria High School and is involved in the creative writing program there. She enjoys using the arts to represent current, real life issues and make relevant political statements. She will be presenting original writing at two of the wasteland showings and also has three drawings on display at wasteland climate anxiety.
With climate change as big an issue as it is, those in the arts (especially young people) are influenced the daily anxiety it presents. Charlotte is excited to explore these concepts in this project.
